Purchase price can dictate how much profit a seller can earn. Always "buy low" and "sell high". If a seller needs money at any cost, the purchase price starts to have less meaning. Inflation and the current cost of living can impact profit from your initial purchase price. 

DAMAGE

Damage is a huge factor when determining value. If there is damage observed, there is less value. Do not expect a premium price for a collectible with defects and damaged packaging.
